This home in Springfield is over 100 years old and our clients wanted to keep the integrity of their kitchen while giving it some updated features. Lighting was a big issue for them so we added 5 recessed lights as well as lighting under the cabinets to give the counter space some light. The cabinet over the stove was removed and a decorative custom support to hold the new microwave was installed. Cabinet space was also an issue so we turned some of the lower cabinets into pull out drawers so they could have easier access and more room to organize things. A nice decorative touch was added to the sink area by installing some rosettes, fluted moulding and plinths. Kitchen cabinets were painted in Cooking Apple Green by Farrow & Ball and wall in Ben Moore Regal Select Matte White.
